Terms of service

These terms cover your use of appsbysam.com and the apps on its subdomains (together, the “apps”). By signing in or using the apps, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the apps.

Access

The apps are private and available by invitation only. Access is personal to you, and your role in each app sets what you can see and do. Access can be changed or removed at any time, for any reason. Please keep your Google account secure, since it's how you sign in.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add to the apps. You give us permission to store, display and process it only as needed to run the apps for you and the people you share with. Please only add content you have the right to share, and be mindful that some content is visible to other members of an app.

Acceptable use

When using the apps, please don't:

• post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful or that invades someone else's privacy;
• try to reach data or apps you haven't been given access to;
• interfere with, overload or try to break the apps or their security;
• use the apps to send spam or for commercial purposes they weren't meant for.

We may remove content or access that breaks these rules.

Information in the apps

The apps are personal record-keeping and coordination tools. Values, estimates, scores, dates and any details filled in automatically (such as from a wine label photo) may be incomplete or wrong. Please double-check anything important, and don't rely on the apps as professional, financial, legal or insurance advice.

Availability

The apps are provided as a personal project. They may change, pause or be discontinued, and features may be added or removed without notice. We'll try to give reasonable notice before shutting an app down so you can ask for a copy of your information.

No warranty

The apps are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that they will be error-free, secure or always available. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator of appsbysam.com isn't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the apps. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid to use the apps, which is nothing.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
